Here is a photo of Dan in one of his better moments when he wasn't running a fever, drinking a protein shake because he couldn't eat food today. The side effects of chemo are different for everyone but it is heavy going for him, the fevers still continue a couple a day, he is regularly getting platelets and blood, physiotherapy for the lungs. The hospital staff at the bone marrow unit are experts in the field and we trust them to guide us through this.
