Move to ICU

Tonight had to be rushed off to ICU (intensive care unit) as he could get in enough oxygen. He has fluid in the lungs and phlegm and when he started coughing he couldn't stop and wasn't getting in enough oxygen. He is now on oxygen, they have inserted a catheter to assist in draining of the excess fluid and by the time I left at midnight he was stable and getting in enough oxygen again. It was very traumatic for him because if you can't get air into your lungs you obviously start to panic. Anyway hope all looks better tomorrow, he was peaceful when I left him.
