So it's full on winter here so that also means it is rugby season. If you look at the photo on the left Paul is the one with the orange jersey on the left being tackled. He plays eighth man and plays a tough game. This Saturday he got a black eye and a cut on his head, it's a tough game. He now plays for the first team so most of our Saturday is taken up with rugby which leaves just 1 day for other things. This past weekend I took Monday off and we went to Langebaan to visit Clive and to restock his food supplies and clean the house. Cleaning is not his thing, he is one of those men who don't seem to see dust and dirt plus he is tired from a full days work. Paul is writing exams at the moment, they are important because they get submitted for college entry. He has decided to study marine science at college but must concentrate on getting good marks. Clive has also decided to make a change next year and will be going to university to study a BComm (commerce), we are busy with his applications as well currently. As normal there is plenty to keep me busy between the properties but not enough time to get it all done but we plod on. We have managed to finish a major clean up of Grandma's front garden so hopefully now with the winter rain it can recover. We have started hanging sliding doors on the laundry and bathroom but we hit complications so we haven't finished yet, all simple tasks seem to hit complications so a 1 hour job becomes a day job and then drags on. I am also having tenant problems with 1 flat and now getting complications with another one it seems, so we're not short on drama.Monday, May 30, 2011
