Locked out

This past weekend opa Rien went to Langebaan so Clive could visit Nadia and I stayed in town so Paul could go to Jane's grandparents 50th wedding anniversary. Anyway on Saturday night opa Rien phoned to say that he had just returned from church and had locked the keys in the house, all the windows were closed... and no spare key except with me in Capetown. So the 3 of them slept in the flat as it has a separate pin code keypad, actually it was more like camping because there was no bedding on the beds and they had no pyjamas. So early this morning I drove through to take them the key.

And the day ended with drama again and another visit to the emergency room. Paul cut (actually more like stabbed) his thumb with a knife while he was cutting frozen chicken. They cleaned him up, gave him a tetanus injection and dressed it, no stitches required but he is taking painkillers because it is very sore...
